Remote made FaceTime portraits by Jitske Schols

When Covid stimulates creativity. Dutch photographer and artist Jitske Schols made portraits of students who studied abroad, but were forced to return home. Remotely, with FaceTime. She directed and coached her subjects and made the portraits with a simple screen shot.

The series won the second prize in the ‘portraits’ category at the Zilveren Camera photo competition.

Animated portrait series for Utrecht University

Project info: For the award ceremony of the 2020 Teacher of the Year award, I created animated portrait series of the nominees, combined with text animation. In the run up to the award night, the portraits were published on the Utrecht University social media channels, the full animations were shown during the online award ceremony.

Interactive multimedia production for the green think tank Enpuls

Project info: The multimedia project ‘Our New Energy’ highlights the energy transition in five countries. The international interactive story was made for the Dutch green think tank Enpuls.

In the multimedia project international journalists, experts, entrepreneurs, activists and researchers have their say on climate change and the energy transition in Japan, Nigeria, China, Sweden and Hawai’i.

The project had been published on the interactive Slices tool.
