This is the type of production I love. And would love to make myself. What do we see in mainstream media when it comes to Gaza? War, misery, hopelesness. What does Irish photographer Andrew McConnell do? He shows fun, relaxation, inspiration. The Gaza Surf Club shows what Gaza is too. And brings a smile to a face. At least to mine.

This is an excellent, powerful series of personal testimonies from #photojournalists who have been working in the 2006 Lebanon War. The collection of these first hand stories creates an intriguing look into the work of photojournalists in conflict situations. Brings back memories of the many conversations I had with the people I met during two visits to Lebanon in the past.
